- Change of behaviour: pitch wheel was inactive after preset switching.
  It only became active when the wheel was moved a few degrees, this resulted in small pitch jumps

   -> On: all patches (single and multi) are write protected
 
-  M.CLK-LFO-ASW:        On/Off  (Default: Off)
 
   -> Options for external MIDI clock sync (VCF 1 and VCF 2)
       For patches, which make use of LFO sync / MIDI-CLK sync.
       -> M.CLK-LFO-ASW = Off   MIDI sync is on - only if a MIDI clock is received, if not - no sync.
       -> M.CLK-LFO-ASW = On    MIDI sync is on - only if a MIDI clock is received, if not automatic fallback to 
                                internal sync after 2.5 seconds.
      To enable clock sync: set the Ramp button to "CLK" and the LFO mode to squarewave.
      "Rate" knob = Decay, "Time" knob = Clock rate.
      Internal clock rate can be set in the menu "Single LFO-Mode1" (press button "Menu" - go to "Preset Edit" - press button "Parameter" up or down).
 
- Aftertouch :CHN/Poly/P+C     Default:CHN

       CHN: Normal MIDI Aftertouch (all notes per MIDI channel)

Set individual preset colors:

- Preset-C.Activ:       On/Off        Default Off
                        On: Switch on custom preset colors
- LED-Color:            0..63  Adjust with value buttons or color knobs
- Disp-Color:           0..63  Adjust with value buttons or color knobs
- Quick-Edit:           On/Off (always off when powering up the Schmidt)

Color edit instructions:
 
- If "Preset-Colors" is set to off, the global LED colors will be displayed.
  You can set them by adjusting the knobs on the modulation panel at the left side of the keyboard. 
 
- Edit preset colors:
  Select a patch and go to "Special" menu page 3.
  (Attn: page 3 is the only page available if you selected a multimode patch!)

  -> Switch "Preset-C.active" to "On".
  -> Active preset colors (0..63) will be shown. If global colors were not changed, both values are 0.
     Select you custom colors by changing the values for "LED Color" and "Display Color". You can also use the "LED" and "Display" knobs near the keyboard.
  -> Press "Write" to save the settings. Press "Exit".
  Patches with custom colors are marked with a flag "*" ("Single*" or "Multi*").
 
- Quick Color Edit:
  -> Go to "Special" menu page 3.
  -> Set "Quick-Col.Edit" to "On"
  -> Dismiss "Special" menu with "Exit"

  The function of the following buttons is now changed:
 
  Clipboard:  Copy selected LED colors to the clipboard
  Write:      saves colors to the selected patch and sets preset color flag (*) to active.
  Value-Up:   Sets preset color flag (*) to active und saves it to the patch
              (no color change if not edited)
  Value-Down: Sets preset color flag to inactive und saves it to the patch
              (no color change if not edited)

Installation procedure:

The update of the firmware can only be performed via Midi - not via USB!
For transmitting the sysex files to the Schmidt use „MidiOx“ (Windows) or „SysEx Librarian“ (MacOS).
Default settings are fine.

Unzip the file Schmidt_FW110.zip
There are 4 files:

- voice_110.syx
- system_110.syx
- panel_110.syx
- install_procedure.txt (this file)

 
Activating the OS-Menu to update the software
--------------------------------------------------------------
While switching on power, press the buttons „Clipboard" and "Preset Up" at the same time.

—> OS-Menu is active

1.) Select Menu “Software Update
—> press Enter 
 
2.) With cursor up/down select "Update Voices“ (Enter)
—> „All Voices“ (Enter)

3.) Send the file „voice_110.syx" to the Schmidt (MIDI in)
    
3.) A progress bar is displayed
—> when ready the data will be checked - if ok:

4. ) Press Enter
—> “are you sure ?”
—> Press Enter (this will take a while - 6 programming processes for each of Schmidt's 8 voices).

5.) When the procedure was successful you get the message “Update finished successful”
 
6.) press Exit
 
7.) With cursor up/down select "Update System“
—> Press Enter

8.) Send the file „system_110.syx" to the Schmidt (MIDI in)
—> A progress bar is displayed
—> When ready the data will be checked - if ok:

9. ) Press Enter
—> “Are you sure ?”
—>  Press Enter

10.) When the procedure was successful you get the message “Update finished successful”
 
11.) With cursor up/down select "Update Panel“
—> Enter

12.) Send the file „panel_110.syx" to the Schmidt (MIDI in)

13.) A progress bar is displayed
—> When ready the data will be checked - if ok:

14. ) Press Enter
 —> “Are you sure ?”
 —> Press Enter

15.) When the procedure was successful you get the message “Update finished successful”

16.) Switch the Schmidt off and on

If there is an error message during transmission of the files or after switching on the Schmidt, repeat the installation procedure.
